Praia do Areal Sul, just a hop south of Peniche, offers a serene surfing experience away from the hustle. With shifting sandbanks after each storm, it's a tranquil haven for wave enthusiasts. But beware, those expansive sandbars can stir up powerful rip currents, and the main break can be quite a paddle out. This spot demands stamina, not for the faint-hearted surfer.
