Wind-Direction:
The main wind direction is WSW but in winter the wind direction can change to NE (over north)

Wind-season:
Whole year

Kiteschool:
Surfing Elephant

Surfschool:
Surfing Elephant

Beginner suitable:
Yes, but probably the hardest spot for beginners of the whole Belgian coast. Better beginners spots are Icarus in Zeebrugge or Anemos in Knokke-Heist.

Current:
Having the pier on the left side of the zone has significantly improved the current on the side of Surfing Elephant. There are currents, particularly around the pier, creating a sort of rip, but only in proximity to the pier.

Standing Area:
No

Deep:
Yes

Waves:
North Sea typical but better than most Belgium spots (but still not great).

Wave-Season:
In winter there’s more chance of decent waves.

Toilets:
Public Toilets

Parking:
Public Parking 1
Public Parking 2
Public Parking 3

Family suitable:
Yes! Especially because your whole Familie could spend time at the Surfing Elephant Area

Camping:
No

Restaurant:
Surfing Elephant

A few rocks on the right side of the spot, only visible at low tide, also indicated with a buoy at higher tide.
