[Spain] Campsite Aquarius - Sant Pere Pescadore

Description:
Camping Aquarius is a very nice, well-maintained campsite located at the Golf de Roses in Spain. The campsite is very clean, has modern sanitary facilities, and is situated right on the beach. The pitches on the campsite are very spacious, and you have a choice between different price categories. You can find more details under Location Plan & Prices. Generally, it is definitely worth making a reservation here, as the campsite is very popular and often fully booked during the peak season.

While it does not have a large pool area, there is a small water area where children can cool off and play on a kind of water climbing frame. Additionally, there are some small playgrounds and childcare services where the little ones can have fun.

The campsite also has a small shop and its own restaurant. It provides direct access to the beach.

However, it is important to note that kitesurfing directly at the campsite is prohibited during the peak season from mid-June to September. Throughout the bay, there are designated kite zones where kitesurfing is allowed. This is partly because the beach gets very crowded in high season, making it really dangerous to launch or land kites outside the kite zones.

To avoid trouble with the locals, you should definitely look for signs like the sign below and stick to these kite zones.

For this reason, we always enjoy visiting this campsite, but only in the spring or autumn. During these times, you can kitesurf directly in front of the campsite without any issues. Additionally, there is a small beach bar within walking distance that is very nice, but you should be aware that it closes in mid-October.

It is definitely worth bringing bicycles because there is a bike path along the entire bay. You can easily cycle to the next town or go shopping in the nearby village.

Toilets and Shower:
The toilets and showers are very clean, very modern, and leave nothing to be desired. The showers have lockable individual cabins, and there are plenty of toilets available. There are several places throughout the campsite where you can find toilets and showers.
