[Travel] BIP&GO Toll Badge

Post by Fabian »

If you decide to use BIP&GO, please feel free to contact me, and I can send you a sponsor link that saves both you and us some money.

Because after spending years in Portugal and frequently commuting between Portugal and Germany, I consistently encountered the same issue.

In Portugal, we relied on ViaVerde to travel swiftly without stopping at any toll stations. However, the drawback of ViaVerde is its limited functionality outside of Portugal.

Upon a friend's recommendation, I switched to BIP&GO, a toll-badge offered by the French Toll-System. Unlike ViaVerde, BIP&GO operates seamlessly in France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy.

What appealed to me most was the flexibility of not incurring any charges for the badge during months of non-usage. When I do utilize the badge, I'm only charged €2.40 for the months in which I use it, as opposed to an annual subscription fee. (Please be aware that the offers may have changed since we ordered the badge)

This feature has significantly enhanced our convenience, as we're not burdened with expenses during periods of non-use of the toll badge.
